Angie Kurcz values the versatility in her role as Quality Assurance Manager at Wellabe. She loves the opportunities she’s given to explore different areas she is interested in and to use them to grow. 

Angie leads a team of quality analysts who ensure Wellabe’s insurance products are accurate for sales partners and suitable for customers. 

“I enjoy my time on this team and all the people I get the opportunity to interact with,” she says. “I especially find it interesting to be part of the early planning on projects and then roll our sleeves up and test the code, the integrations, and collaborate with others to find the best solution.”

Before joining Wellabe, Angie worked on the claims side of a health insurance company. From there, inspiration peaked to seek out a new role.

“The drive to change to my current role was a new challenge. It was a way to create T-shaped skills and further my learning,” she says.

When looking to her future at Wellabe, Angie hopes to work on her servant leadership abilities so she can help her team strive to be the best they can be. She also wants to continue to keep learning and sharpening her skills while she continues to look for growth opportunities.

Fun fact
Angie volunteers a lot. She is her kid’s soccer coach; she helps transport her kids and their friends to extracurricular activities; she teaches church classes; and more. “You name it. I probably have done it,” she says.
