Brian Armstrong

‘I really like the way Wellabe mixes business with pleasure — work hard, play hard.’

When Brian Armstrong received a Commodore 128 at age 12, his passion for data and computers was sparked. Fast forward to the past two years, and Brian has been using that drive as a Software Engineer at Wellabe.

In his day-to-day role, Brian supports the MyEnroller 4 program, Wellabe’s online application tool, and hopes to amplify the tool to improve the agent and customer experience.

When asked about his favorite aspect at Wellabe, he couldn’t hold back and shared how much he likes the culture.

“I’ve worked at several different places here in Des Moines, and I really like the way Wellabe mixes business with pleasure — work hard, play hard,” he says.

Brian says he had 10 stops as a tech professional before landing a role at Wellabe. With many accomplishments under his belt, it’s hard to choose one that stands out from the others.

“Each stop in my journey to Wellabe had challenges or projects that come to mind as being something I could look back on and be proud of,” Brian says. “Although this is not really related to my role or career, I’m very thankful that Wellabe gave me the opportunity to reconnect with track and field through the Des Moines Corporate Games.”
