BreAnna McGee embodies Wellabe’s core value of “Be determined.” As a Business Analyst, she manages projects from beginning to end, but she is committed to finding innovative solutions as she enhances processes through data analysis. 

“[My role] includes writing business requirements, test cases, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation. It also involves being an effective communicator between IT and the business side of the house,” she says.

From her seven years at Wellabe, BreAnna not only has fond memories of dining out with coworkers and admiring the Des Moines office’s famous artwork, but she also has built long-lasting tools to make day-to-day tasks easier.

“Throughout my career here, I have had the opportunity to make several Excel workbook applications. They function like a living program complete with buttons, macros, and background code to complete the task requested,” she says.

As she looks to the future, BreAnna hopes to explore Power BI and coding languages.

“I believe both would be highly beneficial for our department and my personal portfolio. I would like to see the business analysts adopt consistent practices across the board with our vendors and internal processes, making significant strides to position the company for the next decade,” she says.

Outside of work, BreAnna enjoys art, gaming, writing, spending time with her family, and watching movies.
