A personal experience with her dad led Kio Santana to a career serving older adults.

“I experienced the need to help the senior market with understanding the health options that are crucial to have to be taken care of,” she says.

Fast forward to today, Kio is a National Sales Distribution Manager for Wellabe’s health insurance products — Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity, Dental, Short-term Care, and First Diagnosis Cancer insurance. 

Kio helps achieve the organization’s sales goals by traveling to meet with health industry experts and discussing older adults’ insurance options.

“It’s nice to learn how to serve the most vulnerable population,” she says.

Kio has a lot to be proud of during her time at Wellabe.

“I was able to identify the Hispanic population’s needs and implement new products and procedures to serve this community,” she says.

Kio hopes to continue to grow with Wellabe and be a leader within the sales team.
