Margaret Burk can’t pick just one favorite part of working at Wellabe.
“I enjoy that I get to work with data and software programs, analyze, solve problems, improve processes, and complete tasks that are important to the company and employees,” she says.
Margaret is a Payroll Administrator for Wellabe. She does the payroll for agency employees and home office employees and is the administrator for accounts payable and unclaimed property. She has been with Wellabe for five years.
Prior to joining Wellabe, she worked in sales, agent and employee training, marketing, business operation, accounting, and payroll.
She says, “I was inspired to pursue this career by the prospect of professional and personal growth opportunities.”
And she’s proud that she has taken advantage of those opportunities during her tenure with Wellabe. “I take part in ongoing personal development to learn and apply processes for the betterment of my coworkers as well as ultimately helping the company be successful,” she says.
She hopes to continue learning and stretching herself personally and professionally over the next five years — especially regarding new AI software and hardware in business operations.
